The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden

Ten years ago, The Arboretum of Los Angeles County was donated over sixty different types of Plumeria by Arturo Martinez, a scent chemist with a passion for the flowers he considered the 'King of Scents.' Since then, with the diligent work of Arboretum Senior Botanist Jim Henrich, the collection has come to include over 200 accessions, making it one of the largest on the west coast.

Join Arboretum Botanical Information Consultant Frank McDonough for an overview of the collection, and an introduction into Plumeria culture.
